For both locations, you should dress for glacier run-off!  The water is very cold.  There will be boat/lifejacket and helmet checks with only ICF approved helmets being allowed to be used in the races.

For senior trials this is a new and relatively untested facility.  The concrete lining is extremely rough and sharp.  Be prepared for cuts, scrapes and equipment damage. Course is fast and steep with exposed rocks.  Helmet, PFD and Footwear are mandatory!  Gloves, wetsuit/elbow protection and facemask are recommended.
